OVBC tournament rules are pretty much standard the bass tournaments community. Contestants, their
equipment must meet required Coast Guard, State, WDFW, and OVBC requirments.
OVBC tournament are open to members only. Exceptions, the Mike Marshall Open and a potential member
may fish only one tournament with a OVBC member prior to becoming a member.
Registration is $50.00 per boat (team) plus optional $10.00 Big Bass Pot. The OVBC pays out 80% of the
registration and 100% of the Big Bass Pot. The number of pay-outs and their size depends upon the number
of boats entered.
The Big Bass Pot depends upon the waters the tournament is being held on and determined by the team
members at the Driver's meeting. It may be paid to the heaviest LMB, SMB or split between the two.
Please remember, OVBC tournaments ARE NOT about money! Our tournaments are focused on having fun;
they're about sportsmanship, safety, friendly competition, and modest bragging rights.
